You will be asked to input your shipping & billing details

You will then receive an order confirmation via email to the email address provided at the time of ordering

If your order includes a higher value/larger format system, an order may only be placed as an enquiry (with no current charge), as often the logistics around processing these machines will require us to request more information from you.
DATA CHECKS

We may run some checks on your details before we ship your order. These checks may include verifying your address and payment details linked to your order. Any orders found to be made under fraudulent pretenses will be followed up with an investigation and may be reported to the local authorities.
CUSTOMS

We don't currently offer international shipping as standard, however if you wish to pursue this option, we would be happy to assist

Countries outside of the New Zealand may be subject to additional duties to be paid.

As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you reside in; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival.

The final value of your order does not include any additional duties required. The carrier, prior to delivery, will inform you of the additional duties.

If you refuse to pay the duties to release your order, the order will subsequently be returned to the Katipo warehouse and refunded. A shipping & handling fee may be deducted from your refund.

By law, Katipo is required to state the correct amount paid for any outgoing international package. Any requests to change this information will be denied.
CANCELLATIONS

Remember to check your cart and delivery information to ensure your order is correct before pressing the ‘Place Your Order’ button, as we may not be able to amend your order once it has been submitted.

Cancellation after the order has been dispatched is not possible; in cases where the order has been dispatched, the customer is required to receive the order. Cancellation is not valid until the customer has confirmed with Katipo by email and this email has been acknowledged by us ( support@katipolabs.co.nz ).

Katipo reserves the right to reject or cancel all orders placed on our website. We explicitly reserve the right not to accept your order for any of the following reasons: the product is not available / in stock, your billing information is not correct or not verifiable, your order has been suspected of fraudulent activity, we could not deliver to the address provided by yourself, force majeure, in the event of misspelling, pricing or other errors or mistakes in the website information

In the unlikely circumstance we’d be unable to fulfil your order for whatever reason, an email will be sent to the address supplied by yourself when you placed the order explaining the issue that may have arisen.
LIABILITY FOR DEFECT

Katipo is liable if the goods are damaged or lost in transit to your address, but you will need to contact our customer service team within 21 days of ordering ( support@katipolabs.co.nz ). If the goods are lost or damaged when returning the product, the customer is liable.

If your product is damaged in transport, whether the damage is visible or hidden it must be reported immediately to the carrier within 7 days of delivery. It is therefore important that you carefully examine your package when it arrives. Transport damage must also be reported to Katipo within 21 days of delivery. Defective products returned to us will be treated as if they were in perfect working order when shipped as all our products are inspected when they are packaged. In the case of faults or defects in the product supplied, the purchaser shall not be entitled to reject the product unless such faults or defects are reported within 21 days of placing the order.

As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to Goods that are faulty or not as described. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office. Nothing in these Terms will affect these legal rights, we will abide by the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act at all times.
COMPLAINTS TERMS AND WITHDRAWALS

It is important that the customer checks their goods when the shipment is received, in order to verify that the products are not damaged and correct. If you receive your item and see that you have been sent the incorrect item or it is damaged, please contact us within 21 days. Any complaints should be made to our customer service team via email support@katipolabs.co.nz , or through our contact form on the contact page of our website. Please supply the invoice number and the reason for complaint and we will get back to you promptly with instructions on how to return the item. It is important that the returning product is packaged in such a way that it cannot be damaged in transit. The customer is entitled to a refund of the shipping cost if the product suffers a manufacturer fault which will be decided by Katipo on receipt of the returned product. Katipo has the right to replace defective goods with goods of the same model. If the item has been discontinued, the customer will receive a full refund.

The purchaser has the right to cancel the purchase within 21 days from initial order for a refund of product price. This right applies only in the case that the product and its original packaging can be returned in the same condition as it was received. Purchasers using their right to return an order they should complete the returns section of the website. The invoice number and customer’s email address that was used to order will be required. The shipping cost to the purchaser will not be refunded. Return shipping costs are paid by the consumer.
PRICING / PAYMENTS

The product prices displayed on the website are exclusive of GST. Shipping rates are applied per order. The exact shipping rates depend on the location of delivery, and for larger machines can vary on a number of factors.

Katipo reserves the right to change the price of a product at any time without any forewarning. Any orders placed prior to this change cannot be amended to the revised price.

You can choose to pay with credit or debit cards using STRIPE or PayPal. For payment gateway specific terms and conditions please see or . Katipo does not handle any credit or debit card numbers. There is no extra charge for card payments. When paying by credit/debit card starting conditions apply as soon as the card transaction is approved. The price of the goods will be set out in our price list in force at the time we confirm your order. Our prices may change at any time, but price changes will not affect orders that we have confirmed with you. This includes foreign exchange rates which are fixed by us and may be subject to change without notice.
DISCOUNT CODES

Only one discount code can be used per order.

Katipo reserves the right to refuse or cancel the use of a discount code without any further discussion.

Usage of discount codes are subject to stock availability.
LIMITED LIABILITY

Katipo's responsibility for errors in delivery is limited to these conditions of sale. We bear no direct or indirect responsibility for example, but not limited to, incompatibility, delivery delays, downtime, data loss, additional work or other economic harm. Katipo shall be exempt from liability for damages and other penalties on the performance of the contract prevented, hindered or delayed by circumstances beyond our control. As the release factor should be considered include government intervention, new / amended legislation, lack of state, war, fire, flood, labour disturbance, prohibitions, restrictions, sabotage, poor transport or weather conditions or lack of delivery from suppliers and the company is exposed to criminal activity that affects activities.

We do not supply the products on this website for re-sale purpose, unless a written agreement has been made between Katipo and the on selling party stating our acceptance and the terms thereof. Katipo has no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

The product images and information texts available reflect the product as closely as possible. We reserve the right for any errors that may appear on the page and cannot guarantee that all pictures accurately reflect the true appearance of the product. The pictures may differ depending on the colour settings on your computer. All pictures should be seen as illustrations only, and do not guarantee correct appearance and characteristics.

If you are a consumer using our website for non-business activities then nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to contract out of any rights you might have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (if any).
INDEMNITY

You agree to take all necessary action to defend and indemnify Katipo Labs and our directors, employees and agents against all costs, expenses and damages incurred in connection with any claim brought by a third party against us that arise from a breach by you of any of these Terms and Conditions.
WARRANTY TERMS

Your Katipo product is warranted for 7 years from the original date of purchase against all defects in materials and workmanship. For warranty repair, the defected product must be registered within 30 days by contacting us (support@katipolabs.co.nz). In the e-mail you need to specify your name, provide the invoice and a detailed description of the issue.
Please note that warranty does not cover:

The life of the battery (as applicable). Battery replacement will be charged even during the warranty term. Shipping is paid by the consumer.

Failure or damage caused by improper use, lack of care, accidents (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.)
-
Any case, crystal & strap deterioration.
-
Water Damage on watch models not marked (WP 20atm). Reference to each level of water resistant can be found in watch manuals.
-
Aesthetic changes that occur during normal wear and tear and aging (scratches, alteration of the colour and/or material of non-metallic straps).
-
Fps Outfitters products handled by non-authorized persons (e.g. for battery replacement, services or repairs).
-
In the event of a defect or malfunction covered under the warranty, your watch will be repaired or replaced at the option of the service center. In case of replacement, we cannot guarantee the availability of the same model. In this case we will work with you to provide a model of similar price and style.

Additional charges will be made if servicing is necessary for reasons beyond our control such as accident, misuse, neglect or replacement of parts not covered under the warranty such as battery, case, crystal, strap etc.

We highly recommend you acquire insurance for your product and adequately protect when sending to us for repair. Katipo holds no responsibility for any product lost or damaged during shipment, and cannot offer any further support without receiving.
RETENTION OF TITLE

All products remain Katipo property until full payment is made.
APPLICABILITY

If at any time we do not enforce any of these terms or conditions, that does not mean we have waived or released that, or any other, term or condition.

Further, if any part or provision of these terms and conditions is considered to be invalid, unenforceable or in conflict with the law, that part or provision is deemed to be modified by a provision which, as far as possible, accomplishes the original purpose of that part or provision. The remaining terms and conditions will continue to be binding on the parties.

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. You and We both agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the NZ courts. These conditions are applicable where the NZ or other applicable law do not provide conditions that are conflicting with them.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Katipo owns all intellectual property rights in the website and in the material published on it. These works are protected by copyright laws worldwide.

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Katipo’s web site for transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not: modify or copy the materials, use for any public display (commercial or non-commercial); attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Katipo's web site; remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.
